The University of León (ULE) is a Spanish public university with recognized expertise in ecological economics, environmental impact assessment, and the social dimensions of agroecology. ULE brings a strong focus on gender perspective, business models, and the Water-Energy-Food-Environment (WEFE) nexus. Its interdisciplinary approach supports the development of sustainable agroforestry systems adapted to local socio-economic contexts.
